i thought you ln-ed both sides so you would have -x = ln6^2x which is x = -ln6^2x which doesn’t exist right, since it’s a negative?

I have a final tomorrow and I have no idea how to do this at all. Logs are killing me right now :(

wouldn’t it be like log5(x+2)(x-2)=2
and then 5^2=(x+2)(x-2)
but i’m not 100% sure.

ah yes! i just figured this out. i didn’t realize the 5 was a subscript :/
